Estimating your income in the Family Health Organization (FHO) The first step in exploring the Family Health Organization (FHO) model is to determine how your practice will be remunerated under the FHO payment model.

Primary Care Advisory specialises in evaluating the FHO model to determine its viability for your practice. To start we can provide you with an estimate of your income in the FHO and identify any particular challenges your practice may need to address as part of your transition to the FHO

To do this we ask for the following information about your practice:

A copy of the OHIP message portion of your monthly Remittance Advice
Income data from your practice in the areas of obstetrics, palliative care, labour & delivery, office procedures, work in a hospital setting and GP psychotherapy

Once, we develop an estimate of your practice income as it would be remunerated in the FHO, we will schedule a meeting to review the results, assess the viability of the FHO for your group and discuss the next steps.
